Leonard Pendergrass
Leonard began his career with UPS in 1997 as a Security Specialist in the South Carolina District. In 2000, he was promoted to Security Supervisor in the Georgia District. In 2003, Leonard relocated to Memphis, Tennessee, where he accepted the assignment as Security Manager. In 2010, Leonard became the Director of Security in the Red River District and in 2017, he accepted a lateral transfer to the Chesapeake District. In 2018, Leonard was promoted to VP of Security for the East Region.
Leonard has been a lead instructor at corporate AIT schools as well as worked as a dedicated team leader during the UPS Centennial Anniversary.
Leonard attended the University of South Carolina and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's Degree in Administration of Justice and Security. Leonard served in the South Carolina Army National Guard for 8 years and worked as a police officer in South Carolina for 3 years.
In June of 2018, Leonard attended the UPS Community Internship Program in New York. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Philadelphia. During his free time, Leonard volunteers as a youth basketball coach in his local community.
