Charlie Stephenson, Vice Chairman

Charlie is a Life Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated; he was initiated into the Fraternity in the Fall of 1984 and graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He served in the US Army reserves for 8 years and is retired from UPS. During his 32 year career at UPS, Charlie was responsible for various Package Delivery Operations and Security Functions. Charlie’s roles included Supervisor, Manager and Division Manager and also Director of Security Operations in two Districts. Charlie has served on two United Way Boards in the State Of NC and worked with the National Urban League in the Black Executive Exchange program as a guest lecturer and mentor at various HBCU’s. Charlie was also responsible at UPS for Congressional awareness activities serving as a congressional contact for Congressman Mell Watt and Congresswoman Alma Adams. In his retirement, Charlie currently serves as CEO and President of the IVG Group, a business involved with franchising opportunities. Charlie believes strongly in the development of communities to make stronger leaders for tomorrow.
